Mrs. Alicia Castillo-Timothy is a native of the beautiful twin Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Literatures in English with minors in History and Linguistics from the University of the West Indies, a Post-graduate diploma in Education from the University College of the Cayman Islands and a Master of Science Degree from Walden University. She was an adjunct lecturer at the University College of the Cayman Islands for the Teacher Aide Certificate Program. Alicia is currently the Head of the Language Arts Department, Teacher of English in the middle school and Teacher of Spanish in both the middle and high school. She is also the Director of the high school division. She has a great passion to nurture and help each student to achieve at a high standard. Moreover, with the knowledge gained in her Masters Degree, Alicia seeks to use technology as a catalyst to transform the teaching and learning environment into one that is inclusive, differentiated, engaging, collaborative, interactive and hands-on within the Language Department. She is an active member in the Ebenezer Seventh-day Adventist Church and currently serves as the Education Secretary.
